1972 Cutlass Supreme Convertible

This car was my all-time favorite. In fact, this is the first car I ever owned.
It was an absolutely cherry 72 Cutlass Supreme, red with a black interior. It
had a 350 Olds 4-barrel, and a single-track rear end with 2.73 gears. Later I
bought a 455 Olds that came out of a Delta 88 for $150, an Edelbrock Torquer intake
for $100, and a Chevy 12-bolt rear end with a posi unit and 3.73 gears for $200.
Oh yeah - and a pair of Cyclone headers for $75. Add in some miscellaneous
things like Permatex, and my total investment in the drivetrain was around 600 bucks.
It ran consistent 14.10's, and I could drive it around town and down the
highway all day long.

At some point, the car had been hit a couple of times, and I was in college and
had no money to restore the car, so I sold it to someone who could. I wish I
still had it today... I could put the time and care into it that it needed then.
