Part Two - Powering the Pump Unit

I wanted to design a way to cool my engine without having to endure the noise
of my little generator. So, I thought, "How about a battery on the cart?"
Nope. Too expensive, and way too heavy. How about an extension cord?
Hmm... maybe, if I wired a receptacle box on the trailer up to the battery that
was already there, that is currently used to power the winch and the electric-hydraulic
ram that I use to lift the front of the trailer. So, I did it, and I wired up
a "pigtail" male electrical connector to the fan/pump assembly for the other
end of the extension cord to plug into. Total expenditure was $12.00.

CAUTION: I think I'm smart enough to NOT connect the cart up to
anything but 12 volts, but I don't trust helpful friends that may forget.
So mark it with a warning label:

Here is the "pigtail" connector made from an extension cord:

Also, I've included here two photos of my winch mount. I used a trailer receiver to
mount it, so it becomes a quick-disconnect device. The wiring is attached to the
battery via alligator clips. The large bolt that holds it in place is just dropped
into the hole that would have been used for a pin when it was a trailer receiver.
