Since the transmission lines went so swimmingly, I decided to proceed with the
replacement of the fuel fitting at my carburetor. This fitting has been an
annoyance since the day I installed it. Since I assembled my fuel system from back to
front, it was the last AN fitting I installed. As it turns out, it was the only
swivel fitting that didn't swivel, which makes removing the fuel line a real pain!

I fired up the fuel pump and everything was dry and tight. I did a disconnect
test, and a small amount of fuel did dribble out, but it was nothing compared
to what would usually come out. This entire replacement from start to finish
(thanks in a big part to the Koul Tool) only took 10 minutes! Now, the
hair-pulling 5 minute ordeal of removing a swivel-seal fitting that didn't
work correctly has been replaced with a 2 second snap.
